Genesis Clinical Services is thrilled to introduce two exceptional therapists, Kathryn “Kate” Leggett and Rhoda Keefer, who are now part of our team. Their extensive expertise, compassionate care, and client-centered approaches align perfectly with our commitment to providing high-quality mental health services.
Meet Kathryn Leggett, LCMHC, LPC, RPT, CAS
Kate Leggett brings a wealth of experience and specialized training to her work with children, teens, adults, and families. As a Registered Play Therapist and Certified Autism Specialist, Kate has a unique ability to connect with individuals across the lifespan, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, grief, and attachment concerns.
Kate’s dedication to her clients is evident in her use of evidence-based modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as her warm, humanistic approach. She also incorporates play therapy and other creative interventions to meet the specific needs of each client.
Her extensive background includes a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Regent University and nearly a decade of experience as an outpatient therapist. With Kate’s empathetic and holistic care, clients feel supported, valued, and empowered to achieve growth and healing.
Meet Rhoda Keefer, LCMHC, LPC, NCC
Rhoda Keefer joins Genesis Clinical Services with a heartfelt passion for supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges. Her expertise spans a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, parenting challenges, maternal health, and spiritual concerns.
With over 15 years of global experience counseling cross-cultural families, Rhoda brings a unique, empathetic perspective to her work. She is skilled in play therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients of all ages.
Rhoda holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and postgraduate qualifications from Cambridge University. Her warmth and expertise empower clients to overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful growth.
