Dr. Chad Kraska, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and founder of Genesis Clinical Services. With more then 20 years of experience working on psychological assessments he is passionate about helping clients truly understand their strengths, weaknesses and identification of what support can help achieve the best version of themselves. Dr. Kraska is honored to maintain long-term relationships with many of the families he works with, and is well known in the Piedmont area of North Carolina as a leading provider for neurological assessment.

Dr. Kraska earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at Auburn University before going on to earn his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Jennifer Davidson

Jennifer Davidson, LCSW, is an outgoing and passionate therapist with a specialization in trauma-focused care for individuals of all ages. Known for her approachable and energetic personality, she is a strong advocate for her clients, helping them navigate challenges with confidence and compassion. Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Jennifer creates a safe, supportive space where clients can heal, grow, and rediscover their potential.

With extensive experience in treating autism, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and other mental health concerns, Jennifer is skilled at tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. She has a particular passion for helping children and families improve functioning at home and school, often incorporating play therapy to build self-regulation, executive functioning, self-esteem, and social skills.

Since 1997, Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings—including schools, hospitals, community health centers, foster care, and private practice—offering support to individuals, children, and families. Her outgoing and empathetic nature allows her to connect deeply with clients, empowering them to make meaningful progress in their lives.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree from Carson-Newman University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is dedicated to ensuring her clients feel heard, valued, and equipped to achieve their goals.

Callie N. Blanton
Callie N. BlantonPsychometrician
Callie Blanton is a psychometrist providing testing and administrative support at Genesis Clinical under the supervision of Dr. Kraska. She works closely for extended periods of time with clients for the purpose of testing issues of a behavioral, psychological and/or neurocognitive nature and may at times work with clients’ family members as well. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. before earing her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition to her testing expertise Callie has experience conducting assessments, providing individual therapy, and leading group therapy in various settings.
Jen Wilson
Jen WilsonAccount Specialist
Jennifer Wilson is our Accounts Specialist here at Genesis. With over 25 years of experience in medical healthcare, she is adept at navigating insurance claims and keeping client accounts current and correct. Jen earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Road Island, Medical insurance policies can be very confusing, especially in the area of Mental Health. Jen’s extensive depth of knowledge along with her compassionate nature provide superior service for our clients.
Lucy HassellOperations Manager
Lucy Hassell brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field to her role as Operations Manager. Before joining our team, Lucy spent 12 years at Novant Health as a Patient Services Coordinator Lead, where she honed her expertise in operational excellence and patient care. Her deep understanding of healthcare systems and her commitment to creating efficient, supportive environments make her an invaluable asset to our organization.

Lucy’s background is as diverse as it is impressive. After high school, she pursued her passion for culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University in Miami, earning a degree in pastries and desserts. Her family and friends especially love her signature orange liqueur crème brûlée—a testament to her creative flair!

An active and energetic individual, Lucy is also a certified group fitness instructor. In the past, she taught athletic conditioning, strength training, and kickboxing at the YMCA, combining her love for fitness with her natural leadership skills. Outside of work, she enjoys sports, exercise, and staying connected with her community.

Lucy’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication to excellence make her a dynamic leader and a welcoming presence for staff and patients alike. We are thrilled to have her guiding our operations team with her unique blend of expertise and energy.

Kathryn Leggett
Kathryn LeggettLCMHC, LPC, RPT, CAS
Kathryn Leggett, LCMHC (NC), LPC (SC), is a highly skilled and compassionate therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Certified Autism Specialist (CAS), Kathryn provides specialized care to children, adolescents, and adults, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, grief, attachment issues, and life transitions.

Kathryn is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a proven therapeutic approach for trauma and emotional distress. She incorporates a variety of modalities, including play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and humanistic techniques, to create personalized, client-centered treatment plans.

With a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Regent University, a CACREP-accredited program, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kathryn has cultivated a strong foundation in mental health care. Since 2014, she has been serving as an outpatient therapist at Carolinas Counseling Group, providing a warm, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to heal and grow.

Kathryn’s dedication extends beyond individual therapy; she is an active member of the Association for Play Therapy and a passionate advocate for the well-being of her clients. Her holistic and empathetic approach ensures that every client feels valued, understood, and equipped to face life’s challenges.

Rhoda Keefer
Rhoda KeeferLCMHC, LPC, NCC
Rhoda Keefer, LCMHC (NC), LPC (SC), is a deeply compassionate and highly experienced therapist with a passion for helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. With certifications as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and extensive training in client-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and play therapy, Rhoda creates a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.

Rhoda specializes in treating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, maternal health, parenting challenges, life transitions, and spiritual issues. Her expertise in play therapy allows her to connect with children in meaningful ways, helping them express and manage their emotions more effectively. She also provides parenting support and family therapy, fostering stronger relationships and improving family dynamics.

A graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Rhoda also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Cambridge University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a minor in English Literature from the University of Newcastle. Her global experience, including over 15 years counseling cross-cultural workers and families in Asia, brings a unique perspective to her practice.

Rhoda’s warmth, empathy, and expertise empower her clients to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful growth. She continues to provide support to individuals, families, and communities, ensuring each client feels valued, heard, and equipped for success.
